The first edition was developed as the result of extensive research done by a team of volunteers and ICC staff members. The success of the Constructionary is reflected in its acceptance. Today, it is widely used to improve efficiency and communication on the jobsite. One of the main goals of the Constructionary was to unify the use of construction terms in Latin America and the Hispanic community of the U.S. As other dictionaries based on or inspired by this work appear on the market, the Constructionary proves its relevance and leads the effort to improve safety, efficiency, quality and uniformity in the construction industry.

This second edition features an extended vocabulary, including new sections of plumbing, electrical and mechanical terms. As in the first edition, useful tables and phrases complement the contents of this practical guide.
