SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

SHIPPING DESTINATIONS:
We can only ship to destinations within the United States (including all U.S. Territories). We cannot ship outside this area. Orders shipped within the 48 US States are primarily shipped by UPS Ground. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and Armed Forces locations (AA,AE,AP) are sent via Priority Mail.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
We ship most items via UPS Ground, therefore we cannot ship to a Post Office Box or other locations where UPS does not deliver. We ship from multiple warehouses around the country, therefore some items may arrive in separate shipments. Allow 5-8 business days for delivery. Shipments to AK, HI and US Territories may take several days longer.

SHIPPING RATES:
Shipping rates are based on the value of your order as follows: (excluding shipping charges and applicable sales tax)

NY STATE SALES TAX:
We are required to collect 8.625% NY State Sales Tax on all orders shipped to destinations within New York State.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also accept checks and money orders by mail however your shipment will not be shipped until funds clear our bank. This will delay your order by approximately 5 business days. All prices are quoted in US$ Dollars. Payments must be made in US$ Dollars.

RETURNS POLICY:
Generally, Books may be returned for credit within 10 days of receipt. Items accepted for return may be subject to a restocking fee to cover shipping and processing fees that can vary from 5% to 20% depending on the particular item and circumstances. If you have questions about restocking fees before purchasing, please email us at Returns@Contractor-Books.com. Returned items must be in new or re-salable condition. Damaged items cannot be accepted for refund.

No refunds will be made for software, CDs, DVDs, MP3s, or video/cassette products unless such terms have been previously agreed to by us in writing. Defective software, CDs, DVDs, MP3s or video/cassette items may be exchanged only for the same titles and editions as the defective item. PRIVACY POLICY:
Our website and shopping cart requires users to give us contact information (such as their name, address, telephone number and email address). The customer's contact information is used to contact the visitor when necessary. We also use customer contact information to send the user promotional material from our company from time to time.  Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings by following the instructions at the bottom of every mailing.

Any and all information collected on our web site is kept confidential and is used solely for internal purposes and is never sold to any third parties.  Your shipping address information will be provided to our suppliers and/or delivery couriers as necessary for the ordering, shipment and delivery of your order.
